Teaching objectives

Acquire deep knowledge in EASA regulation Part 66 and Part 147.

Allow participants to apply with EASA regulations regarding the theoretical and practical training of aircraft mechanics, from the perspective of both the training organisation and the certifier. Allow participants to be aware of the documentary aspects related to the organisation of the exams and to connect them with the notion of a Quality System.

Notice: This training is intended for companies wishing to upgrade the skills of their employees. If you are a private individual you will not be able to follow this training. However, NOVAE offers training courses for individuals in the aeronautical maintenance sector.

Training course content

  • Describe the structure and objectives of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA / European Aviation Safety Agency)
  • Identify the privileges of each approval of the European regulation relating to Continuing Airworthiness
  • Delimit the perimeter of organizations accredited under EASA regulations
  • Describe the Part 66 training standards and the general eligibility process for Part 66 certification personnel
  • Describe the technical requirements and roles of staff involved in a maintenance training organizations P147
  • Describe the structure of a Maintenance Training Organization Manual (MTOE) and its associated procedures

Audience

Employees of the Civil Aviation Authorities who issue Part-147 approvals and Part-66 licences as well as employees of maintenance training organisations as a whole. Candidates for the Part-66 licence may attend this training, prior to their curriculum, as well as employees of maintenance organisations who will have to work with the aircraft maintenance mechanics of the company
